About these terms

These terms apply when you use thoughtignite.com and the free AI practice tools offered by Thought Ignite ("we", "us"), including the AI Speaking Coach and AI Writing Coach. By using the site or the tools, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them. Paid courses are covered by the separate terms we share with you when you enrol.

Practice tools, not official scores

• Our AI tools give automatically generated practice feedback. Any level or score shown is a practice estimate only. It is not an official IELTS, PTE or CELPIP score and can differ from the result you receive in a real test.
• Example and rewritten answers show one way a stronger answer could look. They are for learning, not for memorizing, and they do not guarantee any score.
• AI feedback can contain mistakes. Use your own judgment, and talk to a trainer before making important decisions based on it.
• We do not guarantee that you will reach any particular score, level or test result, whether you use our tools or our courses.

Our questions and content

The practice questions in our tools are original questions written by Thought Ignite in the style of each test. They are not official test questions. The tools, questions and site content belong to Thought Ignite. You may use them for your own personal practice, but please don't copy, resell or republish them.

Independence from test owners

Thought Ignite is an independent coaching provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the owners of the IELTS, PTE or CELPIP tests. IELTS, PTE and CELPIP are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the tests we help you prepare for.

Your answers

• You keep ownership of the answers you write or dictate. You allow us to process them to create your feedback, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Please don't enter personal details you don't want to share, or anything unlawful, harmful or belonging to someone else.
• Please don't misuse the tools, for example by trying to overload them, copy them, or use them to create content for sale.
• If you paste your own question into a tool, only paste text you are allowed to use. We use it to create your feedback and don't save it.

Age

Our website and tools are meant for adults. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use them only with permission from a parent or guardian.

Not immigration advice

Thought Ignite provides English-test preparation only. We are not a licensed immigration consultant, lawyer or authorized representative, and nothing on this site or in our tools is immigration advice.

Availability and changes

We provide the tools free of charge and "as is". We may change, pause or stop any tool at any time, and we may limit how often they can be used.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Thought Ignite is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website or the free AI practice tools, including any test result, missed deadline or decision you make. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply where Thought Ignite is based.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows the most recent change. If you keep using the site or tools after a change, the updated terms apply.
